HOW DO MY CUSHIONS GET TO ME?

Each order includes FREE UK delivery and is shipped using Royal Mail 1st Class. Your order will be posted within 2 working days after you checkout and delivery takes around 2 - 4 working days. If you're outside the UK, drop us a message on Insta and we can quote shipping to you.  

 

WHAT GOES INTO YOUR PACKAGING?

Each order is wrapped in acid-free and chlorine-free tissue paper and secured with a fabric bow (making use of those scraps from manufacturing!). It’s then packaged in an mailing bag that’s made from sugar cane and is fully recyclable. They’re just as strong as a polythene bag but are a fab eco-conscious alternative, win win.

WHAT GOES INTO A CUSHION?

Your handmade STUDIO SPARKS cushion takes about 5 hours to make.

We use vintage, preloved or surplus/deadstock fabrics to make our cushions. Sourced from independent sellers and small businesses, we choose high quality fabrics that are up for grabs! Sometimes it's difficult to know the brand and exactly where each fabric comes from, but we'll detail what we know on each cushion's product page. If the fabric shows signs of its former life, we'll air and wash it before getting to work on construction.

Although we opt for second-hand/deadstock fabrics, components like piping cord, zips and thread are bought brand new to make sure our cushions are constructed and finished to a high standard. The small amount of fabric used for piping is sometimes sourced new as well.

Our duck feather inners are manufactured in the UK. The feathers come from China and have a no live-plucking certification - they are the bi-product of the meat industry.

All our cushions are handmade at home in Walthamstow, East London.

CAN I RETURN MY ORDER?

Returns and refunds aren't currently offered as we only make limited quantities and bespoke orders. We aim to make the product descriptions as accurate as possible so you feel confident when buying your cushions. If you have any questions, feel free to get in touch here.
